Biamp D-ALINP
Decora-Style Local Audio Input Plate
The D-ALINP is a wall-mounted input panel that lets users connect a local audio source at the point of use in a shared space. It accepts a balanced microphone input and unbalanced stereo line-level sources, summing them internally to a mono balanced output that feeds a mixing amplifier or preamplifier. Individual level adjustment for each input gives simple on-the-spot control.
Housed in a standard Decora-style faceplate, the plate includes a transformer-coupled microphone preamplifier to help prevent ground loops and is powered by phantom voltage from compatible upstream equipment. Its low power draw and long supported cable runs make it well suited to classrooms, meeting rooms, restaurants, and multipurpose venues where presenters or staff need to plug in a mic or music source quickly.
