Each speaker uses a high-excursion polypropylene woofer and a 1-inch tweeter in an 8-ohm passive cabinet, rated from 5 W minimum to 130 W maximum.
Because they are passive, they require an amplifier. The Sonos Amp is the intended match: connected that way, the pair becomes a Sonos room in the app and gains a Sonos-tuned DSP profile plus custom Trueplay calibration performed with an iOS device, which measures the room and corrects for how the wall and furnishings reflect sound. Rated response is 44 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) with 89 dB sensitivity.
The grilles are paintable and sit flush so they read as part of the wall rather than as equipment. Cutout is 10.75 by 6.93 inches with a 3.50-inch mounting depth, so verify stud bay clearance before cutting. Professional installation is recommended.
