Sonos pairs that woofer with nine precisely angled silk-dome tweeters and six midwoofers, driven by fifteen Class D amplifiers, to render a 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos soundstage with height and surround information steered off the walls and ceiling rather than confined to the bar.
Setup is a single HDMI eARC connection using the included cable, and Trueplay measures the room and corrects the response for where the bar actually sits. Speech Enhancement uses AI-assisted dialogue detection with multiple levels, which matters for late-night viewing and for rooms with hard surfaces. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle music duties alongside Apple AirPlay 2, and the bar can later be expanded with a Sonos Sub and a pair of surrounds.
