The QSC Q-SYS I/O Frame is a networked audio input/output expansion chassis for the Q-SYS ecosystem. It is not a standalone processor; instead it houses interchangeable audio I/O cards and connects to a Q-SYS Core over the Q-LAN network, extending audio inputs and outputs to remote locations in a design. The single-rack-space frame accepts up to four of the available Q-SYS I/O cards (Mic/Line In, high-performance Mic/Line In, Line Out, DataPort, and AES3), supporting up to 16 analog channels (more with AES3 cards). Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports (LAN A and LAN B) provide network redundancy, and a universal 100-240 VAC supply powers the unit.
