The QSC I/O-8 Flex is a networked analog I/O endpoint for the Q-SYS platform, used to add flexible input and output channels to a Q-SYS design at the point where they are needed. Rather than routing every source and destination back to the Core, integrators can place an I/O-8 Flex near microphones, sources or amplifiers and carry audio over the network. Its "Flex" analog channels can be configured individually as inputs or outputs, so a single model adapts to a wide range of room and rack layouts. As a Q-SYS peripheral it is discovered, configured and monitored within Q-SYS Designer, and it draws power over the network connection, keeping installation clean.
