The QSC CAN32 is an AVB (Audio Video Bridging, IEEE 1722.1) network bridge card for Q-SYS systems. It provides a digital bridge between a 100 Mb AVB-compliant edge network and the Q-SYS ecosystem, letting AVB audio streams move in and out of Q-SYS for processing and routing. The card handles up to 32 total channels at 48 kHz, configurable as 32x0, 0x32, or 16x16 (and smaller combinations such as 2x2, 4x4, and 8x8), and includes sample-rate converters on inputs and outputs. It uses two RJ45 connectors and can be configured within Q-SYS Designer or via third-party AVDECC tools. As a Q-SYS component, it is not a standalone device and must be installed in a compatible host.
