The QSC CAES4 is a four-channel AES3 (AES/EBU) digital audio input/output card for Q-SYS Core processors and I/O Frames. It adds four channels of digital input and four channels of digital output in the professional AES3 format, letting integrators connect digital mixers, playback devices, and other AES/EBU equipment directly into a Q-SYS system without conversion to analog. The card maintains flat frequency response and low latency, preserving digital signal integrity throughout the Q-SYS network. As a Q-SYS component, the CAES4 is not a standalone device and must be installed in a compatible host to operate.
