    Item #: DIN-THSTAT

    Description

The DIN-THSTAT is a DIN-rail mountable heating, cooling, and relative-humidity thermostat. The DIN-THSTAT provides control of radiant floor heat, forced air, and heat pump HVAC systems. DIN rail mounting allows the DIN-THSTAT to be installed in an equipment cabinet, keeping the living area free from a wall-mounted thermostat.

The DIN-THSTAT is a versatile heating and cooling thermostat with humidity control. The DIN-THSTAT provides control of radiant floor heat, forced air, and heat pump HVAC systems. DIN rail mounting allows the DIN-THSTAT to be installed in an equipment cabinet, keeping the living area free from a wall-mounted thermostat. Small, unobtrusive remote temperature and humidity sensors[1] gather the environmental conditions from the room and transmit the data to the DIN-THSTAT.

A Crestron® control system connection allows temperature adjustments from virtually anywhere by using a Crestron touch screen, handheld remote, mobile app, or computer.

    Remote Sensors
Remote temperature and humidity sensors provide temperature and humidity data so that the DIN-THSTAT can be installed out of view. Outdoor climate can also be monitored, enabling outdoor low-temperature compensation to prevent condensation on windows during cold weather. The DIN-THSTAT accepts up to three temperature sensors such as the CHV-RTS and CHV-RTHS for indoor temperature and humidity measurement or use a CHV-RSS for floor temperature measurement or outdoor temperature measurement. Each sensor connects via a single twisted pair wire.

    Auxilary Ports
Allow state sensing from HVAC equipment and other custom programming and interfacing with additional HVAC devices.

    DIN Rail Mounting
The DIN-THSTAT is designed to snap onto a standard DIN rail for installation in a wall mount enclosure (Crestron DIN-EN series or similar[1]) or on a wall panel. Wiring connections are made using screw terminals positioned along the top and bottom, clearly accessible from the front for easy installation and servicing. DIN rail mounting affords a very space-efficient, cost-effective, and modular solution for configuring complete automation systems using the DIN-AP3 along with additional Crestron and third-party DIN rail mountable devices. When installed in an enclosure utilizing 45 mm cutouts, the DIN- THSTAT's front panel stays accessible while the connections are concealed.

    Cresnet® Communications
The DIN-THSTAT communicates with a Crestron control system (such as the DIN-AP3) via the Cresnet control network. A pair of Cresnet ports is provided on the DIN-THSTAT to allow easy daisy-chaining of several DIN-THSTATs or Crestron DIN rail devices.
